FreedTV is a cross-platform social TV service allowing television viewers to share their TV life with their friends.  We do this by providing a cloud-based server and specialized software that simplifies the interactive experience for the television viewer.  Our television savvy interface allows users to quickly find their friends, see what television programs they are watching and how they feel about them.  In addition to signaling their own programming choices, our real-time messaging capabilities allow users to join each other in a virtual TV room environment to share their viewing experience live.  We provide additional value by organizing the viewer-generated data into a community resource for program, event and viewer recommendations.  The service is network-neutral and cloud-based allowing users to connect and share across video service providers and from any network connected device.
